Drop Forging

Our Drop Forging is the process where a hammer is raised up and then dropped onto the workpiece to deform it according to the shape of the die. There are two types of drop forging: open-die drop forging and closed-die drop forging. As the names suggests the difference is in the shape of the die, with the former not fully enclosing the workpiece, while the latter does. Our two main categories are aerospace and general engineering, and being approved to BS ISO 9001 with the addition of AS9100 accreditation, you can be assured of the upmost quality and expertise. We also hold individual customer approvals including Rolls Royce Aerospace and Goodrich. Our small workforce is committed to total quality and customer service and we pride ourselves on our ability to meet all our customers’ needs and wants.
